Ford Crossover SUV Featured at Goodwill Auto Auction

Are you looking for a vehicle that has the power of an SUV with the easy handling of a smaller car? We may have just the right vehicle for you at this weeks Goodwill Auto Auction of Cincinnati, where were featuring a 2010 Ford Escape, a compact crossover SUV that offers traditional SUV features in a smaller, easy-to-handle package.

Ford first introduced the Escape for the 2001 model year, which was developed in partnership with Mazda. The two vehicle manufacturers worked together to create an SUV built on a smaller, unibody platform based on a car instead of a truck platform. The result is a unique compact crossover with improved handling and better comfort.

The Ford Escape at this weeks Goodwill Auto Auction is from the second generation in the XLT trim and offers updated styling and safety features. With a 3.0-liter, V6 engine and 4-speed automatic transmission, this vehicle has a great combination of power and control. The Escape has a roomy interior with standard seating for five, and a folding rear bench to provide extra storage space.

At the time of its release, the 2010 Ford Escape was among the most fuel-efficient SUVs available, offering an average fuel economy of 21 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway.

Safety features on the Escape include front-impact airbags for driver and passenger and side-impact airbags for 1st and 2nd-row seating, plus electronic stability and traction control. In crash tests, the Escape earned the highest ratings in driver and passenger front tests, as well as front and rear side tests.

Kelley Blue Book users give the 2010 Ford Escape an average rating of 8.3 out of 10, with drivers enjoying the SUVs ”reliability, comfort, interior space, and gas mileage.’
