There are many reasons to drive a minivan. With spacious interiors and plenty of storage space, minivans are a great choice for larger families, whether you’re running the weekly carpool or taking a long road trip. If you’re ready to upgrade your current vehicle to a minivan, head to this week’s Goodwill Auto Auction of Cincinnati, where we’re featuring this popular 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan.
Chrysler first introduced the Caravan in 1984 under the Dodge brand, and it is now the longest-used nameplate by Chrysler. Today, more than 11 million Chrysler minivans have been sold worldwide, and the Caravan is one of the most popular minivan models around.
The Dodge Grand Caravan we’re featuring is a special Anniversary Edition, which was designed to mark the Caravan’s 20th year in production. In the SXT trim, this Grand Caravan has a 6-cylinder, 3.8-liter engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
The 2004 Caravan has standard seating for seven with front and second-row bucket seats and a third-row bench seat. Power sliding doors make it easier for children or families to get in and out of the minivan. With smooth handling and comfortable seating, the Caravan is an easy-to-drive van that’s well-equipped for busy families on the move.
Standard safety features on the 2004 Caravan include frontal airbags for driver and passenger and anti-lock brakes. In crash tests, the 2004 Caravan received top marks in driver front, passenger front, front side, and rear side-impact tests.
Kelley Blue Book users give the 2004 Caravan an average rating of 7.6 out of 10, with drivers citing its “reliability, comfort, and capacity” as major factors for their ratings. If you drive away with a Dodge Caravan of your own, you’ll need to be present at our Goodwill Auto Auction on Saturday, July 28th and place your bid!
The Goodwill Auto Auction is held every Saturday and is always open to the public. The auction is located at 10600 Springfield Pike in Woodlawn, Ohio. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the auction begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.
