Rugged Jeep Cherokee Sport Featured at Goodwill Auto Auction
Looking for a sporty compact SUV that can handle all types of weather? We have the vehicle for you at this week’s Goodwill Auto Auction, where we’re featuring this popular Jeep Cherokee Sport.
Jeep first introduced the Cherokee as a redesign of the Jeep Waggoner in 1974. The Cherokee was marketed as a “sporty” variant of Jeep’s station wagon design. In 1984, Jeep introduced the second generation of the Cherokee and it soon became an innovator among sport utility vehicles.
The 1998 model we’re featuring is a 4-door “sport” edition, with 4-wheel drive, a 4-speed automatic transmission, and a 4.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine. Cars.com reviewers praise the 1998 Jeep Cherokee for its comfort, exterior and interior styling, performance, and reliability, especially in inclement weather. Kelley Blue Book users give the compact sport utility vehicle an average rating of 8.9 out of 10, calling the vehicle “fun to drive” and “rugged and extreme.”
With standard seating for five and a towing capacity of 5000 pounds, the Jeep Cherokee is the perfect vehicle for families on the go. And with four-wheel drive, this is a vehicle that can fare well in both rain or snow.
But in order to drive away in this stylish and rugged ride, you’ll need to be present at our Cincinnati auto auction on Saturday, October 14th.
Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. at 10600 Springfield Pike in Woodlawn, Ohio. Auction begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. Good luck!
