Spacious Family Sedan Featured at Goodwill Auto Auction

Now that summer is over and back-to-school season is here, you might be finding yourself driving more as you transport your kids to school and after-school activities. If your current car is lacking the space your family needs to spread out, we have just the vehicle for you at this week’s Goodwill Auto Auction in Cincinnati!

This week, we’re featuring a spacious 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis full-size sedan that has enough room for busy families on the move. Could it be your next vehicle? Let’s take a look:

The Mercury Grand Marquis was first introduced by the Ford Motor Company back in 1975, where it was marketed as the high-end model in the Marquis line. Like the popular Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car, the Grand Marquis was built on the rear-wheel drive Panther platform. It was sold from 1975 to 2011.

The 2000 model we’re featuring is from the third-generation of the Grand Marquis line, which received several new interior and exterior design updates. With seating for up to six people, this 4-door, full-size sedan is a comfortable and roomy option for carpools or long family trips. Trunk space for the 2000 Grand Marquis measures more than 20 cubic feet, allowing plenty of room for groceries, backpacks, and luggage.

Under the hood, the 2000 Grand Marquis has a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 200-horsepower, 4.6-liter V8 engine, which provides the ideal combination of power and control. It also has an average fuel economy of 16 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. Standard safety features include an automatic braking system and front-impact airbags for driver and passenger.

If you’re ready to replace your current vehicle with something more spacious and family-friendly, this could be your perfect fit! But don’t just take our word for it—Kelley Blue Book users give the 2000 Grand Marquis an average rating of 4.7 out of 5, with reviewers citing its “great value,” “reliability,” “strong engine,” and “comfortable ride.”
