What’s better than cruising down the
streets in a sporty, fun-to-drive car? Knowing that you got a great deal and
made a difference in your community by getting that car from Ohio Valley
Goodwill’s auto auction! Check out this week’s featured car—a modern, stylish
2008 Honda Fit that’s ready to hit the road.
Japanese car manufacturer Honda first
introduced the Fit in 2001. Now in its third generation, the sporty subcompact
Fit is a best-seller in countries around the world.
The 2008 model we’re featuring is from
the second generation. A five-door hatchback, the 2008 Fit is wider and longer
than its predecessor and offers more interior room for passengers. Under the
hood, this Fit has a 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter engine with a five-speed manual
transmission and front-wheel drive.
The 2008 Fit is surprisingly roomy for
its small size. It offers enough seating for five, but the rear seats may be
folded down to create additional trunk space. Standard safety features include
side-impact and side curtain airbags for the first and second rows.
One of the biggest perks of the 2008
Honda Fit is its fuel economy. It offers up to 28 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on
the highway, making it an excellent and fuel-efficient commuter car. For city
drivers, having a smaller, subcompact car like the Honda Fit is another plus,
especially when it comes to parallel parking on crowded streets.
But don’t just take our word for it, take
a look at the 2008 Honda Fit’s reviews on Kelley Blue Book. It received an average consumer rating of 4.7 out of 5 for its
efficiency, performance, and quality. Drivers love the Fit for its “quirky
styling,” with multiple reviewers calling it “fun-to-drive.”
Could this Honda Fit be your next ride?
