Sporty Nissan Maxima Featured at Goodwill Auto Auction
You don’t need to break the bank to enjoy the comforts of a luxury vehicle. At this week’s Goodwill Auto Auction, you can find a great bargain on a used car, like this week’s featured car – a sporty 2009 Nissan Maxima.
Japanese manufacturer Nissan debuted the first Maxima in 1980 with the Datsun Maxima. The Maxima we’re featuring is in the seventh generation of the popular sedan, which was redesigned for the 2009 model year. The new model was built on the Nissan D platform, with sleeker body styling and updated features like keyless entry, push to start engine, and Nissan’s CVT transmission.
This 2009 Maxima is a 4-door sedan with standard seating for five. Car and Driver magazine praises the 2009 Maxima for its comfortable interior, citing “deeply carved reliefs in the back of the front buckets and generous knee spaces for back seat passengers.” The sedan’s standard 3.5-liter, V6 engine is backed by Nissan’s CVT transmission, enhancing the driving experience with ‘paddle shifting’ options.
The 2009 Nissan Maxima has an average fuel economy of 23 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway, making it a perfect commuter car for work or school. In crash test safety ratings, the 2009 Maxima received the highest marks across the board for driver, passenger, front and rear, rollovers and side collisions.
If you’re looking for a luxury vehicle with a sporty edge, the 2009 Maxima is the perfect car for you. But to drive away with this sporty sedan, you’ll need to be present at the Goodwill Auto Auction on Saturday, September 23rd.
