Spring is right around the corner – why not “spring” into the new season with a new-to-you vehicle? If you’re shopping around for a great deal on a used car, the first place to go is our weekly Goodwill Auto Auction of Cincinnati! This week, we’re featuring a 2003 Ford Taurus, a practical, smooth-driving car for the whole family.
The Taurus was developed as Ford ushered in a new era of quality standards. It was one of the first front-wheel drive vehicles in Ford’s line-up and was designed to be more aerodynamic and fuel efficient. The Taurus is also an award-winning vehicle. It was named to Car and Driver’s Ten Best List in 1986 and became the Motor Trend Car of the Year in the same year.
The 2003 Ford Taurus we’re featuring is from the fourth generation of the popular vehicle. The 4-door, mid-size sedan has a 3.0-liter, V6 engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Taurus received several interior and exterior updates for the fourth generation, including a more conservative body style that provides increased headroom and trunk space.
This Taurus offers standard seating for up to 6 passengers total, with a front split-bench seat and rear bench seating arrangement. Standard safety features include dual-stage front-impact airbags for driver and passenger, front seatbelt pretensioners and a security system. The 2003 Taurus also comes with several additional comforts including cruise control, speed-sensitive power steering, and remote-controlled mirrors.
The 2003 Taurus was designed with fuel efficiency in mind, offering an average fuel economy of up to 20 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. Practical, stylish, and fun to drive, the Ford Taurus is an optimal choice for family transportation. In fact, Kelley Blue Book users give the 2003 Ford Taurus an average rating of 4.1 out of 5, describing the vehicle as both “economical and comfortable.” And as an added bonus, this vehicle has just 82,463 miles on its odometer! Are you ready to give it a new life?
To drive away with a Ford Taurus of your own, you’ll need to be present at our Goodwill Auto Auction on Saturday, February 23rd. There, you can place your bid on this 2003 Taurus or any of our other vehicles up for auction!
