Attention adventure lovers: we have a vehicle for you at this week’s Goodwill Auto Auction! This week’s featured car is a 1999 Toyota 4Runner that was made for the outdoor lifestyle, and it can be all yours if you place the winning bid on Saturday, September 28th.
Toyota first introduced the 4Runner in 1984. The first generation 4Runner was essentially a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with a fiberglass canopy over the rear section, but over the years, the 4Runner has been redesigned as a true mid-sized SUV. Today, the 4Runner shares little in common with the pickup trucks it was originally based on.
The 1999 model we’re featuring is from the third generation, which shares the same chassis as the Land Cruiser four-door wagon. It features a 3.4-liter, V6 engine that produces 183 horsepower at 4800 RPM.
This 4Runner has a comfortable, roomy interior that seats up to five. A spacious cargo area provides 44.6 cubic feet and up to 80 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down, making this vehicle a great choice for hauling groceries, luggage, camping gear…you name it!
Standard safety features for the 1999 4Runner include dual airbags and antilock brakes. Just in time for the winter season, this vehicle also has 4-wheel drive, making it easier to handle snow and ice on the roads. With sturdy suspension and easy handling, this rugged SUV offers off-road ability when needed.
Kelley Blue Book users give the 1999 4Runner an average rating of 4.8 out of 5, with reviewers calling it “dependable,” “easy to drive,” and “amazing on trails and off-road.” To see for yourself why this 4Runner is so special, you’ll need to be at our Goodwill Auto Auction on Saturday, September 28th and place your bid!
The Ohio Valley Goodwill Auto Auction is held each Saturday at 10600 Springfield Pike in Woodlawn, Ohio. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m., and the auction begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.
